Well blow me down! You swabs are the best! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. I'd always felt that when Max lost the studio to Paramount, they tripled the violence and removed all the whimsy.

I believe that my favorite Popeye animation artists were Seymour Kneitel and Willard Bowsky, Kneitel, remaining the closest to the look of the Character of the original E.C. Segar strip. Does anyone have any info on the artists and how they drew the Popeye character? Thanks, Stephen
